i was recently fired from mcdonalds here in michigan. They have been cutting my hours down more and more. they had me at 8 hours one week and 0 the next. (i used to be part time). I go in yesterday and they tell me ';well since we don't really need you here that much anymore i guess you can start looking for another job';
so number one.. that constitutes me filing for unemployment, does it not?
also, how do i go about filing for unemployment? do i go to the secretary of state or do i do it online?
and third, it's really out of curiosity, but when i recieve my unemployment check, where does that money come from? mcdonalds, or the agency?
