The law firm I work for has now requested that we learn Edgarization. I don't get it. They want us to setup the process, learn the program and only provided a 2-day training. It's horrible. Does someone know how long the process the learn EDGAR is? How long it's taken you to learn? They are giving us a time frame of 2 months to learn everthing we can about EDGAR which I feel is not enough. This is a very tedious and boring program and we'll be doing all day long. They aren't even offering us anymore money and are just saying it will now be part of our job.
I would like some responses from individuals who have or are doing EDGAR to help me if they can with their answers. I'm even thinking about leaving my firm because of this. Should I stick it out or get another job that doesn't require us to know Edgar. By the way, I know some edgar positions pay well, but the money is not worth it to me.
