I'm new to the area. Any large companies you can name or offer websites to would be greatly appreciated.
I've already tried:
IBM, Fedex, USPS, UPS, Union Pacific, Borders, hospitals, etc. No more staffing agencies, please.

I read a book that said stop looking in newspapers for the jobs, and the best step is to just get out there and ask everyone you meet: ';Do you know where I can get a job?'; and the second best question is (if they say no) ';Do you know someone who I can ask?';
